Doggie Thursday

I have successfully failed to post consistently in the past year-ish. But I am making the effort to get caught up.  Here we are in the office. This was a lazy Saturday morning and Buddy jumped up on my chair to curl up on my robe:

The most amazing change over the past coupla months has been Reggie!  Here he is in the meditation chair. Lemme tell ya, Buddy is none too pleased!  Not to mention Tabby Bobcat!

Here's Bingo snoozing away on the T.U. Rug:

And back to Buddy:

Speaking of Buddy, we had snow! Here's Buddy ROO-ROOing at the neighbor dogs:

And back in the office, Buddy is learning to share the M-Chair:

Here's Tabby on the little ottoman, next to the M-Chair:
"Huh?"

Zzzzzzz

But then . . .

And then . . .

And then . . .

And here are the dogs:

Better angle:

But then!

King of the M-Chair:

Here's Hannah-Banana for a vizzie:

OK, can you stand such cuteness?  Look at Buddy's leg on Reggie:

 Here's Tabby assessing the sitch:

So he goes to the ottoman. Just imagine you can hear him purring-n-kneading:

Zzzzzz . . .

Better angle:

Tabby all curled up:
Zzzzzz . . . .

The churning about when it's close to dinner time:

Bingo's "Feed Me" Look:

Sandi coming to pick up Hannah but stays for a vizzie:

Hannah joins the party:

"Hello, Hannah."

Buddy securely on Sandi's lap!

*smooch*

*yawn*
Whenever I see Buddy yawn like that, I think about how perfectly Charles Schultz captured that yawn when he drew Snoopy yawning. Well, that's about all for now. I will endeavor to get back on a regular schedule.  :-)

Dog Dragons

Megabattie is my favourite YouTube channel. Meg is a dedicated, tireless, flying fox bat rescuer. She posts the sweetest videos of her rescues. Not all the rescues end well; some bats have to be euthanized if they are too injured. They get caught on barbed wire, or in netting. Some get electrocuted on wire, and some have head injuries too severe to survive.

Unfortunately, there's a starvation thing happening right now in their habitat, so there is more rescuing going on. Babies fall off mothers who can't produce milk, and they are too weak to hold on. And that's where Megabattie comes in to save the day!

Tolga Bat Hospital is where they go when they're ready, after Meg's care. They also have a Facebook page you can follow for updates.

These bats remind me of my Bingo girl. Someone in a comment called these bats "dog dragons." An apt name. Here are a few pix of Bingo in "Bat Girl" pose:

Meditation Chair

Buddy is partial to my Meditation  HIS Chair when he's in the office. Recently, Reggie has gotten brave and has jumped up!  And just last night, I sat with him. That would not have happened 3 years ago, when I first got him. Passing the three year mark has made him less skittish, and he continues to get more and more relaxed.

The photos aren't v. good; Reggie looks even more black-blobby!  I had to take them with my computer, because if I got up to get my camera, the moment would be lost.

Buddy trots in and sits down below assessing the situation:
"Hmmm . . . he's at it again. In MY chair . . . oh well!"

And up he jumps:
Buddy, trying to get comfortable.
But then:

And then Reggie hops off eventually, and it's Buddy's domain once again:

:-)

Here's the other night when they were both sacked out:

Lady Pix

Saturday we had our holiday family Xmas at Chiro-Sis's house, so Composer Brother came down and so I got some more photos of Lady. She is SO SWEET!

Getting sleeeeeeepy . . .

In the dining room with us:

Waiting for a stray morsel to drop:

Look at her tail!

And back in the living room:

Zzzzzz . . . .

Out for walkies before the drive back home:

Such a sweetie-pie!  :-)
